Vigilant and Faithful Servants (Ephesians 3:2-12, Luke 12:39-48)

Have you wondered why we put our hands at our ears👂 in this way when we are in a noisy place and are trying to hear what someone's saying?

Well, I haven't since it's quite an automatic gesture... till now. And you might have guessed it is to block out the soundwaves from the surroundings so our ears can capture more clearly the voice we are actually keen on hearing.

Silence and solitude are 2 vital ingredients for the 'readiness' our Gospel tells us about today. I'd add that they are more than ingredients; they are foundational pillars.

Have a blessed mid-week! 🙏
