It is my first time doing a spiritual retreat. I chose Montfort center not knowing what to expect. I also did this without any group and was living by myself. I have to say I am very impressed at the cleanliness of this place. The comfort and space that's given to you is amazing. Breakfast alone looking at the greenery. Praying w tears alone in the chapel. Bible reading alone in the cave. Waking up to the sunrise in your face and birds chirping. It's doing what the body was meant to. The room was really amazingly clean. Not speaking to anyone for 3 days with minimal use of technology was not that difficult when you have the silence at the top of the hill, nature to admire, all the time in the world to pray, reflecting on what God prompts in the stillness and reading his word. I highly reccomend for a 2-3 day get away from society and just be insolace. Trust me, it's a holiday w God. You may not feel it there, but when you leave and go back to society, within two hours, you will understand what a precious time it was with the Almighty. Gretchel, Gabrielle, Lydia and the team have been wonderful in guiding me when I wasn't sure how to get around. Nothing was rushed. You will be in good hands. Great job guys.

Highly recommended for a rejuvenating retreat. The retreat centre is thoughtfully designed with welcoming prayer rooms, a well-curated library and an art room. The lush gardens and prayer maze provide a beautiful setting for quiet contemplation. The staff are kind and attentive - special thanks to Gretchel for her warm introduction to the facilities and hospitality.
